Well, it’s (already) four months past 12,025 but I’ll try to describe how that year went: mathematically or otherwise.
- Credited a course on Fourier series which turned out to be mixture of 4 standard courses on Fourier analysis and semi-(geometric measure theory).
- Attended a Summer School on Rigidity of Discrete Groups, June 30 – July 4, 2025 at IISER Mohali.
- Co-organized a seminar on compact Riemann surfaces.
- Read and presented a bunch of ergodic theorems.
- Went to Bangalore for 3 days for a NUS x IISc workshop.
- Started doing My MS thesis, looking at symmetric spaces of non-compact type.
- Focussed on Patterson-Sullivan measures of discrete subgroups of isometry group of (real) hyperbolic space.
- Applied to a bunch of universities for a PhD in mathematics.
