Biswadeep was a PhD student at IISER Mohali when I first met him. He was a TA in the course MTH201: Geometry of curves and surfaces, during fall ‘23. I met him in person during the endsem of the course, when he was carrying out the attendance sheet!
He had been a mentor and a friend to many of my batchmates and juniors. He completed his PhD in 2025.
He is currently at IISER Tirupati: looking at exotic structures on 4-manifolds.
